Would you have become a witness if not raised as one?

For me I would say no way.

Good question. I think my response would be in the negative too.

I very much doubt it !!

I think the majority of new baptisms are people born into the religion, rather than those who see the light because of a knock at the door!

Which makes me think that if it were all true and only Witnesses were to be saved then it would be a game of chance. You get saved by being lucky enough to be born into the right religion.

I became a JW because I was told the new system was on its way (1975) I was 21 at the time

    There is no possible way!

I was old enough to know better and did it anyway. NO excuses, just bought the entire BS story hook line and sinker.

The majority are certainly raised as witnesses but there are plenty of adults who get baptized.

    that depends.

on how good my christmas's and birthday's were growing up , and

who was trying to persuade me to be a jw as an adult. because

if Paul Walker came to MY door, i would say yes. because he

    is gorgoues

and it depends if i was still attracted to girls...
