  Well don't forget to figure in that since the 1980's they have been offering literature for free and pestering the congregations to pay the bill. Not a very profitable position God know how much money they lost in the process, and now they are flipping real estate to try and make things stay out of the red finacially, but how much have they lost from that time nobody knows we can only guess, some are guessing they are rolling in the dough, and other are guessing the opposite.

  It should be interesting to find out who guessed right. Time will tell or perhaps not lets wait and see I'm sure we will all be surprised. I think that these guys on the GB arre really delusional and have been banking on a Ameggedon bail out in the printing business.

  The WTS have people looking after its finances, one way the WTS., is cutting back on costs is making their publications

  in digital formant, so people are more persuaded to download the articles as they come out.

  Since the WTS has hundreds of millions sitting in bank accounts throughout the world, a few law suits levied against them

Thats a lot of growing. This new arrangement to fund the building of Kingdom and Assembly halls around the world is a guarentee for future growth. They never made more money in their entire existence then they do now and will do from now on.

  I'm thinking these growth indicators pubs, congregations, BS, and the like are probably questionable and just like everything else the Governing Body puts in print about their Organization/God's Earthly Organization it has a biased slant which is used to presume that the Watchtower Corporation is being blessed and supported by Jehovah himself. In other words they will fudge figures to suit their needs and get more money from the rank and file.

  It would be nice if they had a few billion $, that way they can pay out to every Child Molestion Lawsuit who was put in harms way by their reckless policies. And from the news we see that there are many such cases already and more to come.

  I was thinking this $200,000,000 for expenses to be the equivilance of the cost for printing 2 billion cheap 16 page magazines($.10 each if not less)per year) which would come out to:83,333,333 each issue(24x83,333,333=2billionx.01=$200,000,000). We all know they don't print this volume but I use the figures to show that no doubt the 200 million dollar figure for careing for the full time slave labor, may be off quite abit especially now since they have laid off over a thousand Bethelites and District Overseers, Circuit Overseers, and closed a number of branches.

  With all the cut backs and retiring those who got old in the full time service of the WT corporation and giving them essentially no retirement benifit and forced to rely on the charity of the rank and file to get life's neccessities, this should lower this questionable 200,000,000 dollar figure considerably.

  But in the final analysis we don't have any trusty figures to speak of because the religious nonprofits(non-prophet or non-prophetic or both in the WT corporation's case) don't have to file taxes and are not required to be transparent as to what they do with their otherwise taxiable assets. This in turn leaves room only for speculation with no hard facts to go on,to do a good analysis.

  Whichever ones are showing a less-than-optimal degree of financial success (just like any franchise chain).

  I also feel that the WT Corporation has been expanding in the past(pre1980s) and useing the generated cash flow to purchase more building and not investing that much of a percentage in stocks, and what not, and now because a down turn in thier printing business and unable to sustain a profit for perhaps decades they are selling a lot of their printing factories(also:selling printing presses for what they can get for scrap metal) and other real estate like Kingdom Halls to make the books balance(which BTW we are not privy to).

  And now they have every thing in place for a massive sell off if needed to balance the books in the future.

  With the $Billion$ from real estate sales in Brooklyn, and now the $100s of millions sent in from Cong savings accounts, I'd say they are well set for a long time.

  You may be right, but one begs to ask the question: why did they rob the congregation's saving's accounts thru the capitalization of being God's Faithful and Discreet Slave and requesting a resolution(which can't be disobeyed), for the turning over all savings over 3 months of operating cost, to the WT Corporation and those tacky pledges for money on a monthly basis? This is an unprecedented move by the GB, why now?

  They must realize that this is going to eventually cause indignation and have a reverse trend, causeing many to stop contributing. So why are they willing do this now as opposed to former days? What prompts such drastic measures Now?

  Analyse the plan, they have now banked enough to pay for many Law Suits, they have assured Cashflow for a good while, they still have the off-shore hedge-funds or wherever the cash from the last 100 years is.

  Money-wise, for the present, they are rock-solid.

  Yes, in 10 or 20 years much may come home to roost, but what do the present day G.B or their puppet-masters care about that ?

  They will be long gone.
