Is it true that the GB is soon planning on ditching the 1914 doctrine?

If they really wanted to, the GB 2.0 can quietly end this 1914 doctrine next month in a "QFR" (that no one will read) and then come back 6 months later with a small KM article that says:

"Sadly, some brothers are not keeping up with the Nu-Lite from the Faithful & Discreet Slave. Six months ago, the governing body had prayerful consideration of Acts 1:6,7 and determined that it is not the organization's place to establish a starting point for Jesus' rulership. We can be certan, however, that Jehovah is blessing his organization with increasing "Nu-Lite" (Pro 3:18) and that the end of this system of things is drawing nearer as we reach more people through our worldwide preaching work (Mat 24:14)."

This will result in some cognitive dissonance that will go away as soon as the brethren drive home that night from the service meeting... and 1914 will dissapear into the sunset, never to be spoken of again.

Yes, there would be a small exodus of the "thinking class" who will later be labelled as "spirtually weak" or brothers who were selfishly "serving Jehovah until a certain date" (like 1975)... But then it will be business as usual because they'll just continue to recycle their old repertoir (who preaches wordwide? who doesn't go to war? who does this or that, etc..) and the remaining brethren will just keep on truckin as if 1914 never had any real significance...

    So sad....
