  "Never did they say 'These are the words of Jehovah'"...but in the masthead of those Awake! magazines: "the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away".

  So they call it the Creator's promise, which is just like saying "these are the words of Jehovah". So yes, it's a false prophecy.

  The WTS. doctrines were created to attract attention to the literature they produced, naturally for the longest

  time they wanted to protect those doctrines, damming any critics and opposers.

  If you had become a member of the JWS and were to point out flaws in their doctrines such as ie. 1914, 1925, 1975

  they would demonise you, point you out as evil and Df you to shut you up from the rest of the congregation.

  .

  If what the WTS. prints is just open uninspired speculation then they wouldn't DF or shun people who criticize

  information in their literature.

  There is enforced regulation in how people are to accept and address those so called uninspired doctrines.

  The WTS for many years has stated that it represents true worship, distinct and different from the rest of

  Christendom and that god had soley choose their organization in 1919.

  This organization has obviously established itself upon lies and proliferating those lies through its own published literature.

  If their proclamation are not inspired why do they say this is meat in due season offered from god's guiding holy spirit.

  Say one thing at one time, then say something in contradiction is what the WTS does and really does it to protect its selfish interests.

  So what you have is men set about lying then lying about what they previously said. This is defined as spiritual warfare

  from their own words and intent.

  The article posted in the opening post demonstrates this supposed spiritual warfare.

  I love their compasionate "take" on what lay behind their "suggesting dates": Eagerness for Jesus' second coming. Puh-lease!

  Oh, and fudging the fact that they did not 'suggest dates' - they in fact seriously advanced them as "the truth" - the rank and file were not free to question - upon pain of being stamped apostate.

  With that line of reasoning, you could go on for centuries being wrong - but make yourself right in your own eyes.

  Yes, indeed, Rutherford was correct about one thing: Religion is a snare and a racket.

  Jehovah's prophetic word through Christ Jesus is: "This generation [of 1914] will by no means pass away until all things occur." (Luke 21:32) And Jehovah, who is the source of inspired and unfailing prophecy, will bring about the fulfillment of his Son's words in a relatively short time." (Watchtower 15. March 1984, p. 6 [brackets theirs!])

  They certainly have fulfilled Luke 21:8. Note that Jesus did not use the term 'false prophets' at Luke 21:8. He only said not to go after those saying 'The time is at hand'. Well, the JW leaders and organization are guilty of doing exactly that! C.T. Russel even published a volume of 'Studies in the Scriptures' entitled 'The Time is at Hand' (compare Luke 21:8, ESV) which contained false end time dates. So without any doubt the JW leaders are among those Jesus warned his followers not to go after. In my opinion, Luke 21:8 is more powerful in exposing them than Deuteronomy 18.

  They did not suggest, they said with the greatest conviction of any Cult, these are the dates of the End!

  May I ask a question, how come Christendom does not receive the same "good grace" or "Get out of religious jail" the Watchtower thinks they should? They are bold faced liars, they use excuses (Reason rolled in a lie), half-truths and logical fallacies to trick their members they said the End was coming!

  The Watchtower think's the public are idiots, unable to read the past Magazines great websites like JW-Facts, FreeMinds.Org have up and running for people to evaluate. They are desperate to write such nonsensical trash, "JWs were modestly eager and might have said, Oh, Jesus might and might not return in 1914." They are sneaky little snakes who try to cover up their tracks while the slither back down their lying holes!
