Any explanation from the WT as to why Adam and Eve did not have sex before they sinned? (and other Genesis stumpers)

Great.... I think this is a joke. But, if it isn't seek help! You are delusional. I can't even read that without feeling part of your crazy rubbing off.

So.... The WTBTS does love to pick and choose, we have established that. For instance the "faithful slave" is literally a group of almost exclusively white dudes from 1919 onward who speak for God in a magazine, but the "evil slave" is hypothetical..

I am going to base all my life decisions on the XANTH novels from now on.

I noticed the same thing about Genesis 3 some time ago--and I thought I was the only one! I'm so glad to see someone else noticed it, too. Basically, Satan told Eve that if she ate of the tree, three things would happen:

    (1) She would not die;

    (2) Her eyes would be opened and

    (3) She would become like God, knowing good and bad.

If you read through the account and into Chapter 4, all three things that Satan said would happen actually happened, and the account even uses the same words. She did not die, but lived on for another 900+ years. Her eyes were "opened," with some kind of increased consciousness and/or guilt (whatever it actually means, it happened, according to the account). And then God says, "Here the man has become like us..." and so make sure Adam and Even DIDN'T eat of the tree of life and live forever (which means that was still a possibility, even in their supposedly sinful, fallen state), God takes proactive steps to remove them from the area.

JWs call Satan a liar--even Jesus called Satan the Father of the Lie--but my question is: What did he lie about?

because Spare-rib cloning reproduction worked so well on Eve,

why bother trying trying the readily observable animal method?

or were their females bare-boned cloned too?

I don't think there is any firm biblical basis to claim that they did not have sex before they sinned. We can only say that they did not conceive before they sinned. The fact that Genesis 4:1 is the first mention of Adam having sex with Eve does not mean it was their first time ever. It appears that the only reason for Genesis 4:1 mentioning them having sex is to introduce Cain and Abel into the story. They could have had sex before they sinned but Genesis does not mention it simply because it would not have been relevant to the story since no children were conceived before. Genesis almost always mentions sexual relations in the context of introducing someones birth. So the absense of mention of sexual relations otherwise could simply mean that the writer saw no need to mention it since no conception took place on those unmentioned ocassions.

Genesis 2:26-30 After a few days, the lord called to Adam and said'

"It is time for you and Eve to begain the process of populating the

earth, so I want you to kiss her". Adam answerd, "Yes Lord but what

is a kiss? So the Lord gave a brief description to Adam who took Eve

by the hand and took her to a nearby bush. A few minutes later Adam

emerged and said, Thank you Lord, that was enjoyable.

And the Lord replied, Yes Adam I thought you might enjoy that and

now I'd like you to caress Eve. And Adam said,'What is a caress?"

So the Lord again gave Adam a brief description and Adam went

behind the bush with Eve. Quite a few minutes later, Adam returned

smiling and said, Lord, that was even better than the kiss.

And the Lord said, "you've done well, Adam. And now I want you

to make love to Eve. And Adam asked, "what is making love' Lord?"

So the lord again gave Adam directions and Adam went again to

Eve behind the bush, but this time he reappeared in two seconds.

Verse 30: And Adam said, "Lord, what is a headache"?
