Finkelstein I meant Etude so I could see what his problem was. The one I posted above is right off of flicker so it seems to work for at least some people.

I was typing my reply but you got two posts in while I was doing that.

BTW where did you get my photo?

Also I could see my image in my post before I posted it using the HTML code from flicker and using the HTML insetion tool.

It had all kinds of information on my flicker account and such so I didn't want to actually post that.

I got the html code from the share icon near the bottom (the little square box with the arrow pointing up out of it)

That share icon does not show on every page though I had to keep clicking around till I found it.

    Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/83207324@N05/12182510786/in/photostream/

I got that one by right-clicking on the picture and copying the link. That is the same link as in the URL.

Also, if I select ways to send (bottom right corner), I can select the public link. It tells me to copy it for use: http://www.flickr.com/photos/83207324@N05/12182510786/

The problem is the same there. I was hoping to avoid creating yet another photo account (besides Picasa, Flickr and whatever is associated with Outlook.

That's a lovely plant. Is it growing in just water?

Hmm...Maybe it's me and my browser. I don't see any "plant", "sample" or "test" picture in this thread. I took the picture myself (the one on my link), here in town. I'm saying that assuming that anyone can see the picture in question from the link I provided. I'm going to have to use a different service and see if I can link it.

Etude, If you can't see my plant picture in my first post then I'm not sure what the problem is.

At least it does not sound like something you are doing wrong.

Here's the link to the actual picture you posted the link to above.

Thanks Dis-member, it's my wife's plant and yes it is growing in just water.

Nice part is you can start it from just a single stem and in a short time have your whole house filled with them if you like.

In my case it is where I get replacments for the ones I plant in dirt then forget to water :-)

The picture was just me playing with HDR photograpy.

You take a dark and a light photo of the same thing and merge them (that was the only time I really ever attempted it but it came out quite nicely)

    Here are the two originals.

    mynameislame:

I am able to see the plant, both on the first post and later on. Still, I don't understand why I can't seem to post the picture. I see a broken link by blondie (post 36145), which may mean she has the same problem. I'm trying again here...What I find curious is that if I put the link in the URL on a browser (provided I'm not logged into Flickr), I can see the pictures which I've made public, in this case the short link http://flic.kr/p/jywxyS. Why the JWNet cannot preview it beats me.

The link you provided worked. How did you get it? It's completely different from what I get when I ask Flickr to share. I have another picture and I'm not sure if I can get the right link for that.

    Thanks.

    Etude.
