I personally like Sue Grafton and Patricia Cornwell, along with Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins...
I like the first two as I really like the mysteries...and the second 2 for the ideas...

Has anyone read any older novels of the earlier Industrial Revolution times such as War and Peace, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Predjudice or Emma? Or even Doctor Zhivago, Works of Anton Chekov or even Doestoyevski? Could anyone suggest a good read to me! I'm new here! I'm going to JW Meetings but am not currently a JW. Sadly! Can someone help me in this literary field of any good books? Even some by the unknown author of "IRISH EYES" or "IRISH GOLD" or "IRISH MISTS"?

    Thank You

    Slippy - waahooooooo!

Hmmmm, my favorite author... the Governing Body of the WTBTS! JOKE!

I don't really have a favorite author, but I enjoy bits and pieces of philosophy...

    Kisses,
    Moe

    ValkyrieAvery,

I have read Sense and Sensibility and Emma. I adore Jane Austen.

I have also read Jackie Collins and Sidney Sheldon.

You are going to JW meetings, but have read Chekov? Well, then, you must find the WTS "literature" to be rather tedious. Even to the point of, well, lets just say, uninspiring?

Why don't you suggest some reading to us?

    Andee
