    I always liked referring them as Jehobos. Another one I liked was when an elders wife thought his position carried through to her, she was then an elderette.

    If God's Spirit is filling a Kingdom Hall, how is it that Satan can manuever the ones within that Kingdom Hall at the same time?

    dmouse, a "spoonerism" is a transposition of initial letters, e.g., "one swell foop" is a spoonerism of "one fell swoop". Named after a Rev. Spooner, whose sermons were at least intermittently interesting, due to his peculiar speech impediment.

    I have always refered to elders wives as elderettes.
    They seemed to know as much as the elders and some of them knew more.
