Funny... this past summer I was at an event with a young group of JW's and after some hesitation they stood during the anthem and I so joined them, somewhat impressed. I've thought it's become a concious thing. But the thing is, a few days later, with more or less the same group at the same event, when the anthem started and I stood it was just me this time (and the thousands of other people at the event...) but everyone else in my group remained seated. I was irritated...and ended up sitting back down halfway through like an idiot. I don't think they know what the hell they're doing.
