For all you Americans Whiskey is a religion in the uk and in Canada too where I live. I think cigars are more of a Southern thing. My Italian wife is more of a grappa girl she had a relative in South Africa send us a case of Landscroon which is a very nice wine, expensive here but in South Africa her uncle said it.s so common they boil thier spaghetti in it. LOL

THIS was a great thread on cigar pairings. Frank75 made some great suggestions.

My personal faves are courvousier JW double black and aberlour

Wish I still drank! I have my cigars with coffee or sparkling water now. :)

Any Padron, 1000s series or a longer aged 1926, 1964, 80 year or family Reserve etc...with anything, even water and you can not go wrong.

Padron's will be better than most Cigars, Except a Cuban like a Cohiba. However in the US they are not for sale...illegally ,

except those not grown in Cubia, like red dot ones. (not even close to the same) IMO

Pair it with JW-Black or Bunnahabhain and u can't go wrong.

While I love scotch- I recommend a small batch burbon with a cigar.
