    I hope not!

He'll miss all the fun, what with the impending collapse of the world's economy and the slaughter of 6 billion humans and all!

    Kismet,

Who is the "you" in your last comment. I didn't ridicule him. I just said the the humor was mild, and tongue in cheek. I don't think his severest critics want him dead.

I, for one, am looking forward to his return, and his tenth annual date setting prediction.

It was a collective 'you' to all who would imitate his style to a greater or lesser degree and yet still condemn him for it.

I've read and been through all of YK's predictions. He and I 'duked it out' more than once at H20.

But fair is fair. I find it interesting that there has been no condemnation at all for posting his name. Whether previously known or not it is still wrong.

    Kismet,
Take my post at face value because you're reading second intentions that are not there. I just read the news in the tram this morning on the way to my office, and thought it was a funny coincidence, the name and the way to die. I'm not happy when someone harmless like You Know dies (different is the case when a GB member dies) and I didn't think it would be inappropriate to post his real name, since everybody knows it.

    Joseph:

I was not imputing ill intent to you posting the article and asking the question.

and I didn't think it would be inappropriate to post his real name, since everybody knows it.
If they didn't they do now. There are over 4,900 registered posters here, with new lurkers and registered posters daily. It is a pretty large assumption that they all knew it before.

    kismet-

your little crusade on this thread is pointless. no one means any harm, no one is wishing death upon yk, nor would anyone on here be glad if he did actually die. as far as who knows his real name and who doesnt, i can say with some assurance that anyone who reads the yk threads with any regularity whatsoever does know his real name. furthermore, regardless of his past on h20, yk has never once on this forum expressed any wishes to have his real name kept secretive, and its been publicly posted about a thousand times.

    Kismet,

Come on man, Robert has posted his own name on this forum and even posted his email address to one of the very young female posters on the board. I completely understand your concern about complying with someone's wishes but it's a little late for Robert to worry about who knows his real name. Everyone does.

Larc is right, Robert doesn't give a rip about us and constantly calls us evil, disgusting, corrupted, manipulative, scum and so on. Robert only gets what he dishes out. No one on this board would be happy to see Robert die but his constant theme of his boring long lectures are specifically directed at the concept of all of us dyeing. He lives to tell us we are all going to die and he himself would dance on our graves. No one here has ever said that about him. I have even told him that if he was ever hurt and needed us I would personally drive up to Seattle to help him. He knows that to be true even though that thought makes him cringe.

Bobby just like Mav man have created their persona on this board and both of them do not deserve any more respect than we would give any one else who plays little games with us.

I'm sure it was not Robert who was stung by a jelly fish and died. If it was OUR Robert King, the damn jelly fish would have died.

    Take care

    Dave
