I was an inactive with a disfellowshipped mate, so slightly above apostate, but lower than whale poop in the Marianas trench in the eyes of the elders. The good thing is that I didn't have far to fall to reach my ultimate destination, Apostate. It made for an easy transition. Being an underachieving worked for me.
