By the way, did they mention any "apostate lies" in your talk, such as "Jehovah's witnesses supported hitler in WWII". Just curious, because although I heard that on the YouTube version of the talk, my wife didn't hear that at her DC.

They did indeed mention that. The whole talk was rife with straw man arguments just like that, easy for them to tidily dispose of.

I suppose they had to change from the previous metaphor likening apostate information to spiritual pornography. Use of the word "porn" just made the sheeple curious to check out us hot, naked, apostates.

They've been claiming that for as long as I can remember. When I was "in", I believed that all apostates were out starting their own churches so they could get their own following.

The whole thing with apostates in Bible times is that the apostates were trying to get their own following. Rarely do you see modern day "apostates" doing that. You are deemed apostate for just telling the truth (and they will admit that).
