These two things are not even remotely related. The (in)famous Shroud of Turin has been quite thoroughly debunked. It was radiocarbon dated to medieval times, IIRC.

Protestant christianity has a victorious, happy jesus. They aren't that concerned w how he might have looked. They worship, praise and sing to him. To them, he is an active super hero type. Its much different from the wt jesus.
The crying wt jesus could have been crying cuz the wt had him locked in a dark closet, and just let him out for a bathroom break.
If christianity attracts you, almost any church is better than the wt cult.
