We did try to go one time while on vacation and we drove miles to the nearest Kingdom Hall only to discover it was the Circuit Assembly that weekend and no meeting!

I was guilty of doing this myself. I remember once while traveling for business on the east coast, I visited a congregation in south Philly. Huge congregation, and I was the only white face there. After the meeting, I was approached and asked what congregation I was visiting from. I jokingly asked how they knew I was visiting. After a momet of uncomfortable silence, I started laughing. As did they.
But back then, I would sometimes schedule an extra day to attend a sunday meeting. bleh
