This just shows how badly thought out the whole thing is. Although it was complete rubbish, didn't the old light at least have a coherent sort of internal logic? This new idea, the more you look at it, is just total nonsense.

When a group of men say they are the:

"sole channel of communication between God and mankind"

they are replacing Jesus Christ who is the ONLY Mediator,

no men are required, just Jesus Christ who is directly accessible.

Anyone who claims to be "in charge" is "standing in the Holy Place"

    The scripture where Jesus asks

"who really is the faithful and discreet slave"

this is not about a "class"

it does NOT apply to a "class" there is no-one,

no man or group of men, "in charge"

That is a "Catholic Pope" concept. Same thing.

We are all supposed to be "faithful slaves". Its a rhetorical question.

The WT GB FDS sets themselves up as "leaders"

    when Jesus clearly said:

" Call no man your leader for ONE is your leader, the Christ."

No "governing body" no FDS it doesn't exist except

in your indoctrinated mind and the indoctrinated minds

of the JW's who believe this false teaching.

Its not Biblical. Not true. And its anti-Christ.

I think, from reading something somebody else said, that the 'coming' of Jesus has been moved from 1918 to the future.

Which reminds me of when we read the Watchtower in February 1993 and came to the conclusion we couldn't join in the preaching any longer.

Yep, they're getting ready to remove most of the dates they ever believed in. Take a look at the first chart, under the heading The Last Days.

    It used to be:

    1.) one generation, then

    2.) two-generations (overlapping)

Now they seem to be pushing for 3.) "The Last Days of unknown length"

Good point. Rutherford tried to steal from Russell's limelight when introducing 1919, but this is the final nail in Russell's coffin. It opens way for more changes, it will be interesting what eventuates over the next five years.

It was the February 15th 1994 Watchtower not the 1993.

After reading it we could no longer see that we were in Christ second pesence, Christ's return. At the time we talked about Matthew 24:30,42,44, and that we thought there was only two comings his first and the 2nd, not three. As we didn't have the 'sign of the Son of Man' Matthew 24:30. We did not think we had his coming or presence or any appointment. We also thought and told some the sheep and goats, generation would have to be changed. Which brought the elders to our door.

I see things somewhat differently now.
