  It's clear they are obsessed with pornography. It is mentioned with a frequency that is truly bizarre. That alone is just plain weird.

  Frankly, there were lots of times when porn was the last thing on my mind, that is until the WT said, "Avoid the snare of pornography!" Great, now I'm thinking about; wasn't before. Thanks, guys!

  But what is truly offensive is that they bring this up (no pun intended) again and again in the presence of children.

  I'm a teacher. What do you think would happen to me if I said to my student "Avoid pornography" with even half the frequency as the WTBTS? You guessed it, I'd be out of a job in a heartbeat!

  Looking at it from the perspective of the industry itself, there are many vitally dangerous and damaging things this industry has done to people

  and young people too. The attractive luring factor of making big money offered to young naive and perhaps poor young people is real.

  For example, tell a 18 year old girl that if she can make approximately $800.00 for a few hours work performing a sex scene, with a man or a woman

  and you can see the enticement . If they continuine on and when they start to achieve some notoriety in the industry they can get $1,500 for a

  single days work.

  Thats alot of money for young 20 year olds and its very hard to leave that once they start making it as well.

  The porn industry has taken many lives over its history not even considering what possible damage it causes toward the general public.

  Since my younger brother doesn't know I post here, I'll just mention that he became one of those guys that got

  caught up in porn while he was married. His sexual interests kind of left his wife and moved over to watching porn.

  It eventually destroyed their relationship of being together for 15 years, they divorced.

  On the other hand Porn may just do the exact opposite.

  IF there are physicla issues, yes perhaps BUT if there are mental or emotional or relational issues, it will do more harm than good IMO.
