Saw it on Wednesday. Absolutely loved it. The music, the acting, the story, the cinematography, all brilliant. Had never seen the stage version. The film blew me away. Hubby came along, after half an hour he left to go browsing bookshops. Said there was too much singing lol.

DOH, I didn't realize it was gonna be a musical... I know, as I said ...... DOH! Don't get me wrong, I DO like musical numbers, but they are best seen 'in person'... few translate to the silver screen with any panache.
oh well, maybe the next incarnation will be a real movie.
