00D: What's really crazy is that no matter what happens JWs find a way to interpret it to prove their beliefs.
Yes that is so troubling. That is whyI came up with the idea that when a one of them starts to use absolutely anything to reinforce their sense of rightness, you ask if there is anything that might indicate otherwise. How would God show you this is not his organization, if it wasnt, hypothetically.
Just an interesting thought experiment, hopefully will show the brainwashed how f-ed up thier thinking really is when even suicide is confirming.

redvip2000, or anyone else for that matter, I tried unsuccessfully to find a news story about " the young bethelite [that] jumped in front of a train and killed himself after being disfellowshipped" mentioned in the OP.
I'm doing this as part of my research for an article I'm writing on JWs and Mental Illness.
Do you have any more details about when and where it happened?
