Do Jehovah's Witnesses practice magic?

There is a difference (semantics, and it doesn't matter to me):

    * Spells are done by a practioner working supernatural forces to attempt to make something happen

    * Prayers are done by a practioner petitioning supernatural forces to attempt to make something happen

The only difference is who the practioner attributes the 'miracle' to. Hence, Moses being denied access to the 'promised land' for the water-from-rock trick.

A fanatic is one who, upon losing sight of his goals, redoubles his efforts.

Of course, using the terms "magic" and "dark magic" in this thread/context imply that the poster beleives that there are supernatural forces which can be petitioned and hear the petition and act on the petition.

    *sigh*

Seems like you may be only halfway out of the cult, not fully embracing reality.
