I used to have everything my cable offered in the area. HBO used to be my favorite but I have to say Showtime is the best now. Homeland and Dexter alone are worth the price (especially if you can get a deal).

I have HBO and Cinemax. But I wish I had showtime for homeland...
Game of thrones is absolutely amazing on HBO. One of my favorite shows of all time. Boardwalk Empire is also fantastic.

Homeland series 2 is showing on UK channel 4 at the moment - it is outstandingly good and on a free channel.

I like Starz the best for movies. I used to like the original programming on HBO, when shows such as Deadwood, Big Love, Entourage, and The Wire were on. There's nothing on there that interests me right now. I think Showtime's programming has surpassed it.

previously had none...
Cinamax is HBO's sister channel and all orignal programingl there is soft porn
Everthing on Cinamax you will see on HBO.. at some point
