We saw it today. I can't add much more than what everyone else has said (without spoiling), but I will say it was really good and definately worth seeing.

Saw it last weekend, and liked it. Like most Bond films, reality took a back seat to showmanship. And a good show it was!

I had such bad gas throughout the whole movie! The people beside me kept covering their noses while trying to lean away in the opposite direction. I kept giggling everytime it happend so I think they probably knew it was coming from me. It was great being on the delivering end of situation than the receiving end. Made me laugh. And the movie was great, regardless of my added self-entertainment! The little things in life, right?

Silly use of hacking (not possible.)

I get like that whenever I see aircraft used in a way not possible

[Spoiler Alert - Don't read further if you haven't seen it yet]

One thing I could not figure out was when Bond gets shot in the opening sequence and falls from the bridge - supposedly to die.

Then he is back in action afterwards. I never saw any explanation in the movie to account for that.

No flames here, but Connery always made my skin crawl. We are way past the sixties, and the character in his movies is quite smarmy. His sexism is well-known in real life as well.

Roger Moore was the perfect foil.. so amused and amusing ... such CLASS!

My favorite Bond was George Lazenby in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" , that guy was COOOOL!

I never got to see Niven's portrayal... hmmm, wonder if that's around for downloading.

EDIT: Okay, Timothy Dalton just always looked UNCOMFORTABLE. Stick to Heathcliff and more intense roles, man! And Pierce Brosnan was good, but he's just too 'nice' to really carry it off.

I think Daniel Craig is perfect to revitalize the franchise. He is a great actor, has just the amount of self-deprecation, but is clearly a Bond with an inner steel,, older, wiser, and smooth ... not Roger Moore smooth,, but in his own right, Craig has made Bond his own. Vodka martini, shaken, not stirred, with a twist... yes, sir, James!

Looking forward to seeing this on DVD.

I loved it. Much better than Quantum of Solace.

It's just been released in SA - when I saw the trailer I was excited - this looks very good. May go watch it this weekend.

I thought it was fantastic. It WAS better than Quantum of Solace and I would put it on par with Casino Royal if it had had a better bond girl and she were included more in the story line. Eva Green was fantastic, and Vesper - what a great name!

    SPOILER ALERT!:

The entrance of the villain was probably the best in all of the Bond movies. The awkward sexually agressive come on by the villain set the perfect stage for just how crazy this guy was going to be. Javier Bardem was awesome!

I thought the Adele song was great, I love her anyway.

    Definitely a must-see.
