    Ecclesiastes 3:1-15
"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven ~
2 A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted.
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up.
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5 A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing.
6 A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak.
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace

    timing is indeed everything

Discernment as to what the inspired scriptures actually means is a protection for us

"He will give his own angels a command concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."(ps 91:11)

Very sad loss. I remember when John May was in a terrible auto accident with some pioneers in my congregation. John and Bob and a few others all prayed before leaving on that trip. I never prayed about having a safe journey after that.

Very tragic. Why didn't the WTBTS advise people to not overcrowd vehicles and use only transportation that was approved for passenger use? They will most likely use this story for their own ends. How often did we see pictures in publications of African brothers and sisters loading down rickety canoes and travel crocodile infested waters to get to a convention? The victims will be exploited by the WTBTS as an example for all the r & f to emulate.

    So sad.

God stops the rain to look for bodies but can't prevent accidents.

Poor people are vulerable to religion inspired hope. JW's and other missionary groups have always found fertile ground among the poor and illiterate.

Makes this tragedy even more heartbreaking.

very sad, dreadful if there was young innocent children on board, on a plus side that is 20 less people being able to peddle their message of hate, destruction of family units and their murderous blood policy.

sad to hear. these people were faithful enough to risk their lives in order to go wherever they believed god told them to go.

they deserved better than the bullshit they got from the wtbt$ who, as others have mentioned, will exploit their deaths for their own selfish purposes.

religion is a snare and a racket and the cult of jehovah's witnesses is one of the worst of the lot

it's too bad there's no way to string up the lying pigs on the gb and the compllicit, enabling assmunchers in legal, service, writing and wherever else and send them to prison for life. in the very same manner that many who leave are trapped, at least for some time, in a mental prison. or, since we are talking the bible, a life for a life scenario seems reasonable if that's what their god commands...

"...He blamed the accident on poverty , arguing that if there was a better alternative, such casualties wouldn’t have been recorded, especially as they were going to worship God..."
    excerpt from the above story.

Povery is a big issue in Nigeria. This is true in most of developing countries. I had rather wish a bus could have been used instead of lorry meant for goods not passegers. I think, the nigerian government should be advised to sue the Watchtower for encouraging this misuse of transportation options.

Blame it on poverty? Don't the witlesses want to seek poverty themselves? And, where is Jehovah's holy spirit to protect his people? Just goes to show what the butt-holy spirit really does when it really counts.
