There is some pretty solid evidence that Jehovah's Celestial Chariot failed inspection in 2012.

Bad emissions sensor and bald tires.

This is what makes the JW's a cult.

They obvious are having trouble getting this right, yet....

*Crowdsourcing is forbidden. You aren't allowed to research or run your own calculations at risk of disobeying the FDS (trust us they say)

*They refuse to admit they really can't possibly know and they are simply speculating.

*Jesus never said that he was going to come and inspect anyone or anything in the 20th century and certainly not about of magazine salesmen. It's all based on very loose interpretation and extrapolation.

*Make the calculations so mind boggling that it's easier to just nod your head and go along than critically think.

Changing the doctrine is actually an exercise in submission, keeps the sheep flexible and is necessary. Trademark of a cult.

Splash,,thank you for this clear list of 'flip-flops' on this JW "inspection" doctrine. It is just nuts! They liars flip-flopping on their own teaching.

“On arriving” to inspect the “slave” in 1918, Christ found a spirit-anointed remnant of faithful disciples who since 1879 had been using this journal and other Bible-based publications to provide spiritual “food at the proper time.”

Yes god would no doubtably use the WTS. since they fraudulently $$$ commercialized his gospel, drew up a continuously amount

of unscriptural doctrines that never appeared truthful or honestly accurate.

Religion is a game of power, control and money in the hands of men, it really comes down to whether one wants to join them in their game.

The Watchtower racket has a hundred year history and they have constantly revised that history through their publications to the point that only a tiny number of their members can even begin to unravel all the inconsistences and outright falsehoods.

The Faithful and Discreet slave has become the central "Harry Potter" character in this long running scam.

At one time I thought they explained that the 3-1/2 years that Jesus preached paralleled the time period between the fall of 1914 and the spring of 1918 - but I can't remember what happened in the spring of 1918--not visibly anyway unless there was an earth-shaking assembly somewhere.

    * ** w07 1/1 p. 28 par. 12 “The First Resurrection”—Now Under Way *** At this point, it may be helpful to consider what might be viewed as a Bible parallel. Jesus Christ was anointed as the future King of God’s Kingdom in the fall of 29 C.E. Three and a half years later, in the spring of 33 C.E., he was resurrected as a mighty spirit person. Could it, then, be reasoned that since Jesus was enthroned in the fall of 1914, the resurrection of his faithful anointed followers began three and a half years later, in the spring of 1918? That is an interesting possibility. Although this cannot be directly confirmed in the Bible, it is not out of harmony with other scriptures that indicate that the first resurrection got under way soon after Christ’s presence began.

*** w88 10/15 pp. 12-13 par. 13 “This Is the Day of All Days” ***Thus, John’s visionary measuring of the temple sanctuary was a guarantee that during the Lord’s day, all of Jehovah’s purposes regarding the temple would be fulfilled. In harmony with this and according to all the evidence, those of the anointed who had already died faithful began to be resurrected to their promised place in the heavenly sanctuary starting in 1918. (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 6:9-11)

***w8610/1pp.13-14par.18ComfortFromtheGodofPeace***After 1914, during Jesus’ “presence” in Kingdom power, he, as the archangel, issues the heavenly command for those “in union with Christ” to assemble. In the case of such anointed ones “asleep in death,” this trumpetlike summons calls for their spiritual resurrection into the heavens. TheWatchtower has long presented the view that this resurrection of anointed Christians from death commenced in the year 1918.

*** w85 2/1 p. 17 par. 16 Seeing the “Sign” With Understanding ***Bible chronology and modern correspondencies indicate that the Bridegroom King came to the spiritual temple in the spring of 1918. Then he began to resurrect from the dead the faithful members of the spiritual bride and to unite them to himself in the heavenly Kingdom.

*** w70 6/1 p. 331 par. 22 Do You Have “Faith to the Preserving Alive of the Soul”? ***The resurrection of the anointed Christians, who number 144,000, is to spirit life in heaven and it began to occur in 1918 C.E., after the establishment of the heavenly Kingdom in 1914. (Rev. 12:1-5; 14:1, 4; 20:4-6; 1 Cor. 15:50-55) Such Christians are “made perfect” in the heavens prior to the earthly resurrection of faithful pre-Christian witnesses of Jehovah.

*** w67 6/1 p. 345 The Wedding That Brings Worldwide Rejoicing***Evidence from the prophecies of the Bible and their fulfillment in our time indicates that Jesus Christ came with his Father, Jehovah God, to the temple for judgment in 1918 C.E. He first turned his attention to the members of his Bride who were asleep in death and resurrected them. They, of course, joined the Bridegroom at that time.

*** w60 8/1 p. 462 “Creating New Heavens and a New Earth” ***Would Christendom’s rulers receive him or reject him as King? They rejected him and showed it by killing the work of Jehovah’s witnesses concerning the Kingdom. Just as the Jewish leaders’ rejection of Jesus could not prevent God’s raising of his Son from the dead, so Christendom’s rejection of the King could not prevent God from raising Jesus’ faithful followers from the dead. So in harmony with the picture of 1900 years ago, it was only a short time after the temple’s cleansing in 1918 that the heavenly resurrection of the anointed Christians sleeping in death took place, unseen to human eyes. The nations were then at war: “‘But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged’ . . . And the temple sanctuary of God that is in heaven was opened.” (Rev. 11:18, 19) The spring of A.D. 1918 marked the opening of the temple to the King’s entrance and thereafter the resurrection of the anointed Christians who, along with Jesus, make up “the temple of the living God.”—2 Cor. 6:16.

(and more....notice the change in 2007 though)

The inspection began in the spring of 1918 and concluded in 1919, with a final decision made is how I think the WTS would explain it.

*** w07 4/1 p. 22 par. 5 Loyal to Christ and His Faithful Slave ***“On arriving” to inspect the “slave” in 1918, Christ found a spirit-anointed remnant of faithful disciples who since 1879 had been using this journal and other Bible-based publications to provide spiritual “food at the proper time.” He acknowledged them as his collective instrument, or “slave,” and in 1919 entrusted them with the management of all his earthly belongings.

*** w04 3/1 p. 14 par. 8 ‘The Faithful Slave’ Passes the Test! ***Then in 1919 something unexpected happened. We read: “Right in the middle of the night there arose a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Be on your way out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose and put their lamps in order.” (Matthew 25:6, 7) Just when things seemed darkest, there was a call to get active! In 1918, Jesus, “the messenger of the covenant,” had come to Jehovah’s spiritual temple to inspect and cleanse God’s congregation. (Malachi 3:1) Now, anointed Christians needed to go out and meet him in the earthly courtyards of that temple. It was time for them to “shed forth light.”—Isaiah 60:1; Philippians 2:14, 15.

*** ip-2 chap. 27 p. 397 par. 14 Jehovah Blesses Pure Worship ***there was an important spiritual development in 1918 in connection with Jehovah’s worship. Jehovah and Jesus evidently made an inspection of all of those claiming to represent pure worship. That inspection led to the final casting off of corrupt Christendom. For Christ’s anointed followers, the inspection meant a brief period of refinement followed by a swift spiritual restoration in 1919.—1 Peter 4:17.

The other interesting thing is the IBSA under J Rutherford, who was still embracing Pyramidology when he proclaimed

that god had chosen the IBSA as his solemnly chosen earthly organization in 1919.

Retrospectively that wasn't really a stupid thing to do since this helped validating the organization toward the public

an otherwise good cunning marketing strategy for a religious publishing house to make.
