garyneal 50% fade or walk right out the KH door. 25% stay for family but treat it the way most people who self identify with a religion do......it's my family religion...... yawn.

25% are true believers and come face to face with the fact that they serve no useful purpose other then their own delusional belief.

I'm pretty sure that any JW on this site for more than 10 seconds is already having doubts. It's just a matter of time.

Any JW should be able to see this point, at least:

9 Jesus went on to say that his disciples would see the sign just as clearly as they would see “lightning, by its flashing, [which] shines from one part under heaven to another part.” (Read Luke 17:24-29.) It is of interest to note that Matthew 24:23-27 directly links the same point with the sign of Christ’s presence. - w2008 2/15, p23

The whole reason JWs believe the Watchtower printing company is the "faithful and discreet slave" is because they've been told Jesus picked them in 1919, after his return in 1914. Yet, until 1943, the "organization" didn't notice Jesus' return hadn't happened in 1874. At least 69 years had passed since their failed date of Christ's return in 1874 and 29 years until the new date of 1914 and they didn't notice. Yet, one concrete identifier (per Watchtower's own literature) of Jesus' true disciples is they would clearly see his return, like "lightning... which shines from one part under heaven to another part".

This was influenced by the belief that the seventh millennium of human history had begun in 1873 and that a period of divine disfavor (of equal length to a former period considered to be one of favor) upon natural Israel would end in 1878. The chronology was flawed because of relying on an inaccurate rendering of Acts 13:20 in the King James Version, belief that there was a transcription error at 1 Kings 6:1, and failure to take into account Biblical synchronisms in the dating of reigns of the kings of Judah and of Israel. A clearer understanding of Biblical chronology was published in 1943, in the book “The Truth Shall Make You Free,” and it was then refined the following year in the book “The Kingdom Is at Hand,” as well as in later publications. - jv, p133 ("Proclaimers" book)

If the Watchtower of 1919 was God's chosen channel of communication with humanity, how did they miss the dazzling display of Christ's return in 1914 until 1943. And how were they still under the impression he had been present since 1874 for 69 years? Things were actually getting kind of shaky from about 1930:

second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ dates from about A.D. 1875. - w1930 10/15 p308

Even that was still after 56 years of insisting any true follower of Christ could see he'd returned in 1874, e.g.:

Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present since October 1874, A.D., according to the testimony of the prophets, to those who have ears to hear it - Studies in Scriptures IV, p621 (1897)
Surely there is not the slightest room for doubt in the mind of a truly consecrated child of God that the Lord Jesus Christ is present and has been since 1874. - w1924 1/1, p5

It sounds like someone struggling to see one of those 3D "Magic Eye" pictures:

I think I... no... Wait, there it... hang on... Is it a butterfly?

No, it's a train, but you just keep looking. It's like the Special Olympics of religion. You have to almost feel sorry for them. These are the "prophets" people will know were among them? These are God's channel of communication? Everything in the JW religion hinges on the Watchtower corporation being the mouthpiece of God and it's painfully obvious by their own standard, and according to their own literature, they are not.
