P.S. about the mentally ill murderer, already incarcerated. According to Canadian law, they still have a right to the legal justice system. There would be a preliminary hearing, and their fitness would be questioned. They would be interviewed by a psychiatrist and this would be entered to the court as evidence that the person cannot judge right from wrong. The trial would go no further and the consequences as describe above would occur.

Thanks jgnat for the info. Mental institution A very
dangerous place to work. Another friend was clobbered
on the head with the patient bed pan. She survived and
the next day turn in her resignation.

Me, I am grateful for the institutions, and the dedicated staff who work there. I have a lot of mentally ill people in my family and though they preferred not to be there and their stay was blessedly short, their stay was necessary.

I brought that up since we were talking about good
and evil. I wonder in Jesus day, when Jesus wasn,t
around to expel demons( people with mental issues)
what was there fate. We all know what Hitler did to
the mentally ill.

BTW, aside from psychopaths, I don't think the mentally ill are evil.
