His comments certainly trigger feelings of shock and anger. Most of the comments I read disparage Conti's reputation. They are very revealing. The fact that a pedophile abused her is is almost certain. Kendrick did not bother to show up. The issue is not whether she was molested. They ignored the real issue: whether the WT had a legal duty to notify the congregation of Kendrick's crimes. Another issue is whether the court decided correctly that Kendrick received counseling rather than a standard confession and penance provision. They live in a fantasy land where biological sex drives and almost lack of impulse control are present. The Witnesses remind me of Nazis who will go to any length to believe what they are told. They don't respect the WT as their chosen authority. No, they worship the WT, rather than YHWH or Christ. It also reminds me of Manson's followers. It is very scary. The WT was not liable because a pedophile abuse Conti. Bad things happen in this world. They were liable because a court ruled Kendrick's disclosure was not a confession since there was no expectation of privacy. The two witness rule created a situation where despite the credibility of Kendrick's disclosure, nothing was done to warn the congregation. We all know the two witness rule is a distortion of scripture. Certainly, is not essential or mere Christianity.

sf, I'm sorry, I cannot connect the dots. T-wit is the very antithesis of TK. It doesn't make sense to me. I wouldn't put it past T-wit to make a whole bunch of fake/impersonation accounts. I remember TK from Pathways days, from when he was helping with techie stuff on King's site - even after T-wit hit cyberspace with his fulminations against King and TK.
