Most troubling are the sexual sins of the GB. Two of their number, Ewart Chitty and Leo Greenlees were both found to be homosexuals. Chitty was sent back to his native Britain in 1979 and not disfellowshipped. His needs were payed and cared for by the Society until his death. Greenlees in late 1983 was found to have for decades seduced new boy bethelites into homosexual relationships. Surely he should have been disfellowshipped. But he wasn't. He was sent to New Orleans where he was made a Special Pioneer on the infirmed list. His basic needs were still payed and cared for by the Society until his death in 1989.

Mormons are not JWs. Mormons participate in their government, go to college, run for office, accept blood, celebrate holidays, etc, etc. I dont think what Mormons do/tolerate is a predictor of what JWs will do. However, it is interesting that they are a cult that is maybe 75 years older than the JWs. Maybe with another 75 years of maturity, the JWs will also moderate and begin to enter the main stream.

I am not defending Mormons- they are just a different brand of crazy than JWs.

I just have to weigh in on this. I am a straight married woman who was a born in and finally have departed the ORG. I had the opportunity to attend the Gay Pride Parade here in Denver. Now my reason for being there is my connection with Law Enforcement and believe me there were lots of cops there. The reason for that is that wack job minister from Kansas was there with his following protesting the parade. In case you do not know who this clown is, he is the one that goes all over the country protesting military funerals because "the US is promoting the gay lifestyle and agenda." How the hell that has anything to do with a funeral of our countries soldiers is beyond me, but that is how this goof thinks.

Several things that was refreshing that day were:

First: was the support of the law enforcement personal who were protecting the rights of those celerbrating. The U S Constitution was upheld on the streets of Denver!!

Second: With the exception of Mr. Kansas no one created a fuss, and Mr. Kansas and company was quickly escorted away. (Much applauding )

Third: No one tried to push their life choice on anyone. They were just having fun. No "poor me's" no waaaawaaa)

Okay so you who can not see yourself involved with a person of the same sex .........okay. That is both your choice and RIGHT, just the same as our gay friends have the same choice and RIGHTs. Such intolerance of those choices and RIGHTs make me sick. Maybe you need to get a GPS and be sure you can get back to Brooklyn.

When we confuse rights of homosexuals and homosexual practices I believe the university, schools, associations etc. have missed everything and more religious and political institutions where they are issues that should have been the first to know the difference so that living together differences. It enrages me to read the nonsense people well in all respects except intelligence and their non-sense of humanity.
