My weak grasp of mathematics leads me to say that the chances of a number like 777777 coming up on the Lotto are

JUST AS GOOD as any other combination.

Having said that....those chances are--stated another way---vanishingly small. The chances are so slight, you're actually wasting a dollar1

I once opened the glove box (do they still call that compartment in a car that??) in my wife's vehicle and about 600 worthless lottot tickets

plopped out. "Don't you wish those were dollars instead of of lotto tickets?" I asked smugly.

"No."

This puzzled me so much I just had to follow up with a dazzling question: "Why not?"

My wife replied, "The hope I held of being rich was well worth more than a dollar to me."

Well, I'm sure an analogy could be made here about Pascal's Wager and all that rot....but, I'm going to take a nap instead.

So good you said it twice, eh, Terry?!

Wish you weren't going, Moshe, I really like your straight-talking. And you've really helped me at times when I've needed it, when I first found my way here, scarred by the stupid WT.

Come back often!

Hey moshe!

"One evening of Internet research can tell a JW all he needs to know about Judge RutherFraud and his Millions now living will never die, Beth Sarim, Princes, 1975, 1914, etc - they can leave under their own steam anytime they choose."

How true, and thanks I've just learnt something new: Judge RutherFraud!

Moshe, why not focus your efforts on the newbies who are out but struggling with living in the real world? I met one such young man on You Tube a few years ago. And he's rewarded my efforts with videos, which in turn, have helped several other jws out of the Watch Tower nightmare. About a year after we started corresponding, he called me to say that I gave him his life. I can't imagine a more honorable tribute. He not only has a perfectly happy life, but he also has done more than I could ever dream of in helping others to escape this terrible cult.

There are loads of people who have been out for years who still haven't healed, and there are loads of young people who are leaving. Please use your age, experience, and wisdom to help them be successful.

I've enjoyed your straight talking Moshe in the 2+ years I've been on here. Well done to you for such a contribution my friend.

JUST AS GOOD as any other combination.

20 some years ago in the Illinois Lottery they drew the numbers 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 (all multiples of 7) in the One million dollar drawing- guess what? So many people were playing those exact same numbers that the jackpot paid out only about \$11,000 to each of the winners- and they thought they had a million dollars in the bank when they went to bed after the drawing.

I have learnt a lot from many of your posts moshe...and I thank you for that.
