It is indeed, Mrs J, and I originally checked in here especially to acknowledge it, but got sidetracked by another thread on wealth and poverty. I just had to chip in. You and I were both saying similar things, only you were creditably succinct and I let my fingers have full rein on the keyboard.
I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that my research tells me that Thor has always been on the side of the oppressed and picks up his hammer at a moment's notice to fight for the underdog! ...I know this from research of the available literature...I have no personal word from him!
Anyway, by now it is way, way past midnight and so technically, here, no longer Thor's day, but I'm sure he knows I was unable to get on here earlier and anyway it's still Thor's own day over there with you, and for some hours yet.
So, a very happy Thor's Day to you all, and to all his followers around the world, to all who join Thor in fighting for proper care and use of the world and its resources and to all who, like Thor, look after the weaker folk.
