I used to love watching tv when I was a kid. For some reason not so much anymore. Here are three of my favorites. Share some of yours from when you were growing up.

The Andy Griffith Show was my favorite. I enjoyed Looney Toons & Merry Melodies and Bugs Bunny. I loved The Monkees and The Archies. Then there was the Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family. I really liked the Donna Reed Show. Donna was my dream mother. In the 70's I liked MASH and Monty Python. Lots of shows, too little time.

I loved Barnaby Jones. It's still a very comforting show. And Petticoat Junction. Kate Bradley set a good example for girls and women alike. She knew how to coexist with men, let them think they were running things, and outsmarting them without big fights or show downs. All the time she and her daughters were the picture of femininity.

Police Story, that was a good one! I loved The Amazing Kreskin. Gunsmoke was a staple in our house, too. And lest we forget, it was brief, but memorable - the original Star Trek.

I also liked that one with the single dad and his two kids, Buffy and somethin' somethin' .... Dang! what was that show called .....

Sonny & Cher, the Dean Martin Show, and of course...

Laugh In!!!! Verrrrrryy in-terrr-resting! (Arte Johnson) And that's the truth! (the brilliant Lily Tomlin cracked me up!)

I always enjoyed Andy Griffith too! I also loved the Beverly Hillbillies and the shows it spawned, like Petticoat Junction and Green Acres!
