Right or wrong, good idea or bad idea, people do marry for the wrong reasons and people do settle. And not all people who settle are dishonest about it. Often one mate is well aware that there is not a balance in love.

The moral of the story to pass on to your children is " Marry for love " ..at least some benefit can come out of wrong judgement
Love (or rather lack of love ) hurts

The problem is, children are inexperienced and they may mistake other things for love. Two examples being infatuation or lust, alone. Love coupled with some major lust for each other can be pretty dang good.
