  I'm watching a movie with Spanish captions and writing them all down, then I'll translate it into English using a dictionary and my 601 Spanish Verbs book.

  I watch Univision, too, and practice with my co-workers who, in turn, practice their English on me.

  Have a learn to read Spanish reader and am copying down all the lessons in Spanish.

  Took it in college, too, for two years about ten years ago.

  Just today, my co-worker and I made a deal to teach each other our respective languages.

  She has to learn English, and I want to become fluent in Spanish.

  My Spanish sucks but the pronuciation is right on.

  Now, this is the kicker: I'm Deaf (use cochlear implants) and am fluent in ASL and English. hahaha

  I can read Mi Libro de Historias Biblicas so well that it makes me toss my cookies ().

  Had to give up the Society's Spanish literature because I was beginning to understand it too well

  Good jokes Wolfman, and nicely translated that the punch lines didn't go lost. I knew the first one in spanish (also my first language) but the second is a perfect complement of it. Love it.
