    don't worry James, I'm sure the OP was totally serious in his query and I'm sure you'll help him get to the bottom of exactly where Jesus got his scrilla.

    I will not be able to help him as I simply do not know - I do not even know if there was only one historical individual who was the unique Jesus of the New Testament. I have a deep suspicion that the gospel stories are an accumulation of a number of legends from the time.

    I remember the movie with Sean Connery "The Name of the Rose" - Connery was a dark ages priest who had convened with the other priests to debate the important issue - "Did Jesus OWN his CLOTHES"?

    Asking definitively how he made his money seems just as silly. As does asking if he was a socialist, or what kind of car he would have driven, etc.
