Oreilly and Dawkins - Both idiots on opposite sides of the fence. Deepacs concepts can be somewhat deep and hard to fully understand but they are digestable.

    bella15,

: Anyway, perhaps my point is ... Why don't we all (humans) get along? Why don't we submit to LOVE ...

You must be joking. Your assertion is just too easy and just too perfect and just too elegant. Mostly, it is just too wise, which is why it won't work in this climate of hate.

Morons simply will not embrace it.

"God must have liked idiots, because he made so many of them." - Mark Twain.

    bella,

Thank you for trying. Perhaps in a thousand or ten thousand years people may see the value of submitting to love and eschew all the anger and crap that drags them down.

Perhaps not. I am the eternal optimist, though.

    still thinking,

: he is selling his god, like everyone else that sells their gods...for lots of money...what was his latest book/best seller again?

Chopra? I'm not sure what his latest book/best seller was/is. I've only read a few of them.

Oh, by the way, what is the best selling book in the history of mankind? Wouldn't that be the "Bible?" Yes! It would!

Someone else was selling THEIR God in the best selling book EVER, and what was their best-selling book again, you moron?

I could be wrong, but I think the word is "Bible".

For the record, because I am quite certain that you have not only not read any of his (Choprak's) books, nor seen any of his lectures on television, but that you are talking out of your clueless ass. Chopra doesn't "sell" any God or anything else. He just presents information from his point of view. His presentations are gentle and kind as one would expect from a Jesus or any other spiritual person.

My only point was that he was and is one of the most spiritual people I have ever seen, and I stand by that point.

Point two: I am the least spiritual person you will ever see. I am the antiChrist. I am the devil incarnate. I am the father of Rosemary's Baby and proud of it. I had a DNA test done on that. Yep! I'm the daddy!

So when I name someone else as being good and spiritual, it means something. At least, it means something to me.

That video was like watching two of my favorite JWN believers. Despite the facts that Bill and Deepok do not truly believe the same stuff, they ignore all to bash the unbeliever and one kisses the other's ass for airtime.

    Nice.

Are there people on here who bash unbelievers, btw? Aside, perhaps, from a couple JW apologists?

I learned a long time ago not to pass judgement on matters I know little about. I know little about Deepak Chopra but I do bridle against 'spirituality'. Are we talking about appreciation, wonderment, awe and even reverence for the natural world? Then I can engage with that but why spoil it all with the language of the supernatural?

The United States of America WAS NOT founded on Judeo-Christian philosphy. The "Founding Fathers" were deists and believed in deism. If Charles Darwin had been born a hundred years earlier, the Founding Fathers of the United States would have been aethists.
