Let her try to pio-sneer. In that condition, getting maybe 2 or 3 hours of field circus after committing to 50 will bring the hounders down on her. At which point, maybe something will be done to acknowledge the "illness". And if it really is a cop-out, she is going to get in serious trouble for not getting her time in.

Obviously she shouldn't have a child in her care, but pioneering itself may not be the worst thing.
She probably would talk/act bizarre which would mean someone would call the cops and get her in the system. (If she's talking death, in many states she can be held in a hospital against her will for a period of time, and they may be able to medicate her against her will long-term if she's a danger to others.)
Acting odd in fs would be a "bad witness" which is potentially good on 2 counts. 1, householders will think the religion is bizarre. 2, the elders may step in to "avoid reproach", again landing her in treatment where she belongs, and potentially pissing her off enough to have nothing more to do with the dubs.
She sounds like a very sick lady.
