IMHO:
During the early years of my "fade" I attended a DC for half a day, which was about all I could stand. I could not deal with the conflicting emotions and sadness I felt at the time. Needless to say, I did not have a badge and I also had the nerve to wear denim. I wanted to be comfortable.
I was followed around the grounds by some JW security guy who must have imagined I was there to make trouble, which I wasn't.
