Definitely not a morale booster for their local people to close their branches. These are people far, far away from Brooklyn. Though many of these locations are claimed to be increasing pubs.,suspect they are 'not' giving enough money to the GB. So therefore the hatchet, as far as any branch representation!
Does anyone have any insight as to why they are losing momentum? Maybe they invested heavily in the market and took a trouncing the same as everyone else?
They are very proficient a DoubleSpeak. A publicly held corp would have to own up to investors.
this downsizing is a bit like the simplification of assemblies. Soon those at Bethelites will be expected to provide their own meals, laundry and accommodation and take their rubbish home.

Well said. You'd think that if the end is so damn close, they'd have more effective things to do than close branch offices. Just like the crowing about expansions, this looks like part of a long term plan. Meanwhile, the dim-witted rank and file suck it all in without blinking...
Did y'all note today's news item? Camping says the end did come "invisibly" the other day and the "real" end would take place on Oct. 21. Further down in the body of the news story: Camping's church has $34 million in the bank.
