What would really be cool is if we could go when another large group of active Dubs go. Then at 6AM in the morning we all go knock on their cabin doors with the Washtowler and Asleep magazines!

I can hear it now, "GOOD MORNING! Were Apasta-dubs, we were wondering if you would like a Washtowler or Asleep magazine? Oh Sleeping? Sorry, we will be back in about an hour. Oh, on vacation? We are too! Well see you tomorrow!"

Is this cruise still a possibility? I hope so, but have a few questions.

Do you know the approximate cost and downpayment as well as when the final payment would be due?

Also, do you know if a passport would be necessary? In my state, we have the option of getting an enhanced driver's license and I can see if this would be doable.

One more thing: Are gay ex-JW's invited also? My partner has been so supportive and we are taking our first real vacation in a few weeks, but she has never been on a cruise. I'd love for the both of us to go and meet some "real" people, but I wouldn't want to make it akward for others or us either.

Sorry been busy its still a go for both dates. Deposit for carnival is $200 PP. You have to have it paid in full 60 days before you cruise.

You can bring who the fuck ever you enjoy as company! We got out of a cult so we could be free not scared. Also on the boat they have friends of dorothy meetings so gay folk on the boat can meet and mingle.

Funny story my 1st cruise I saw that in the fun times cruise news letter and thought it was some charity...LOL

Another thing I would like to add some have had concerns about bringing there spouses due to the fact we are ex JW's. Now while we do all have that in common, I personally do not expect to be holding apostate sessions and lamenting the evils of the WT, I will be on vacation having fun with friends who have a shared past with me.

As for booking I have been working with a carnival vacation planner. If you would like to book on your own you can links to the carnival site and the chosen itenaries is in my 1st post on this page (3)

If you have any questions or would like to add your name to the group email here: kanbdone44 @ Yahoo.com (remove spaces)

    Oh forgot about passport question.

From what I understand you could use the enhanced drivers license on this type of cruise or you need your birth certificate. I choose and suggest having a passport. For $100 you have a document good for 10 yrs and can go all over the world...its a no brainer to me. But at the minimum you need your birth certificate.

I like the October trip because that will give me more time to lose weight and i'll be back in my SPEEDO. o yeah, im new here, but i feel like i know some of you guys. I have reading your posts for over a year and my life is finally becoming normal, whatever that is. I plan to start posting more, maybe tell my story. This cruise sounds great.

I am not going for a group rate.

Why you ask? To get group rates you need at least 8-10 rooms/cabins booked. And with that all you get is a reduced deposit amount, down from the $200 per person and you get 1/2 off one of the cabins. From responses I have gotten we may have 5 cabins per trip and I believe the 1/2 off can be more problems than its worth.

Carnival (and most cruise lines) will give you the best prices thru their own websites or in house PVP(personal vacation planner.) If you click the link above for the cruise best for you, you can price out how much it would be.

    Starting rates are as follows:

5 Day Western Caribbean from Miami, FL

    Interior Starting at $389.00* Select

    Ocean View SOLD OUT

    Balcony Starting at $569.00* Select
