The ones that are *supposed* to taste like meat are nasty. But the ones that are are a bunch of graina and corn and beans with a cheese matrix are awesome. Convenient, you just pop them in the toaster. Num num.

I didn't become vegetarian so I could eat processed foods.

Nor to eat things that taste like meat.

But....there are a number of non-meat patties that are delicious, as Kudra said. Many ethnic cuisines featured such dishes prior to the invention of fake meat-a-likes. [A falafel, properly done, is a delicacy.]

I've made many types of homemade patties with beans, vegetables, etc. and they can be really tasty.

    Would you care to elaborate

I don't mind them on occasion, the trick to heating them up is keeping them moist, since there is no fat to create

and maintain moisture. Put a slice of tomato, lettuce, mayo and mustard in a toasted bun.......walla
