    Here's a little snippet from g01 11/22

"Will God bring back life-forms that have become extinct because of man’s ruining the earth? If the Creator wishes to have extinct animal species reappear on the earth, he can certainly recreate them in the future. The same would apply to the extinct vegetation. But since the Bible does not tell us, it would not be wise to speculate on the matter."

So! The paragraph specultates then tells us not to speculate....??

Have I missed something or is this a propoganda technique??

They are acknowledging their God's power, not speculating. They are basically saying "he can do anything if he wants, so don't worry too much about it."

I don't get the "it would not be wise" part, though, pretty vague warning.

What they are saying is "stop thinking - that's our job"

"It would not be wise" is yet another of the Borg's loaded phrases, Sab. They often use these things to separate the true believers from the independent thinkers. To the faithful true believer it means, "thou shalt not," but to the independent thinker it means, "this is a matter for my own conscience."

    Ah-haaaaaaaa! (Inserts appropriate smiley)

I see it. The GB can engage in independant thinking all they want but the R&F are 'wise' not to!

    More double standards me thinks!!
