I have missed meetings for the last six weeks, and no one even called. It is very sad, itsn't it?
It IS sad, especially when those are the people that claim that ONLY THEY have love among themselves. But I love you, grandma Jones, and A TON of people on this board love you too. You'd be someone I'd meet up with if you lived in AZ.
You need to read "In Search of Christian Freedom". Ray makes such a good point about the lonliness that one almost certainly has to face after coming out of this organization. They feel alone. They feel abandoned. They feel that they will never have close relationships again.
But, it WILL pass. You WILL develope close relationships again. Better ones than you ever thought possible. You will find friends that don't care if you agree or disagree with them. They will love you and stick closer to you than a "brother" or "sister" in the organization (I don't even like calling them that since many act so unbrotherly and unsisterly).
You will find others with whom to worship with.
You are still a Christian, I know that. And yes there is a tribulation spoken of in the Bible. It is NOTHING like the Watchtower explains it to be. I recommend going to gty.org and listening to some talks by John Macarthur on the subject.
Although you feel alone, you are not. Remember 2Kings 6:14-17. Elisha thought he was alone, and God opened his eyes to see the thousands that were on his side. There are Christians around the world that you can count on. There are people who will stick with you through your spiritual ups, downs, and indifferences. I hope I'm one of those people. You have already been there for me, and for that I thank you with all my heart.
Don't feel alone! Remember, those who are with us are more than those who are with them!
