3. Serving on a judicial committee is a heavy re
sponsibility. You are judging for Jehovah and are
accountable to him for the judgment you render.
(2 Chron. 19:6, 7) Your decision will likely have long
lasting and far reaching consequences for the indi
vidual involved, his Christian family members, and
others in the congregation.
^ I have always wondered why humans are given this responsibility... It's impossible to make the right decision every time.
Check out the scripture that is quoted:
2 Chron 19:7 - 7 Now let the fear of the LORD be upon you. Judge carefully, for with the LORD our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
^ So no injustice or partiality? What if there is?
Why even quote this scripture if you arn't going to spell out what happens if you don't "judge carefully"?
