Then the greatest of the great Jesus Sacrifice for all of mankind......

God watches as his Son is tormented and KILLED how he must love mankind for sacrificing his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.

Only Jesus who was perfect could take Adams place....... wait JESUS IS ALIVE...... HE IS KING...... WHAT A SACRIFICE!!! Wanna look like a hero. Let your Son die for everyone and 3 days later he's BACK!!! Now can someone (math skills please) tell me IN GOD'S EYES 1000 yrs = 1 day in God's eyes.,,,,, How long was Jesus dead in God's eye? some sacrifice.

One of the biggest contradictions is calling the latter part of the Bible "The New Testament". Surely, some long 2,000 years later - and still no end - it deserves the be called "The Old Testament" and the earlier part of the Bible renamed "The Even Older Testament".

That might drive home the fact that all those impresive-looking gold-edged Bibles with nice crisp red marker ribbons are simply a hodge-podge collection of very, very, very old superstitious ravings.

This may or may not be a contradiction, but an interesting point all the same....Narrow and cramped is the road leading to everlasting life, and few are the ones finding it......then in Revelation it speaks of "a great crowd, which no one is able to number".

There are several contradictions in the two stories of Jesus' birth. There are also contradictions in the stories of the events surrounding his death and also of his resurrection.

A good book that provides a balanced and detailed survey is: "The Unauthorized Version: Truth and Fiction in the Bible", by Robin Lane Fox.

And of course you must never go past "Jesus for the Non-Religious" by John Shelby Spong.
