Do you have to be on constant gaurd with small children when they go out and play?

I'm really curious. Because i live in the southern states , we do have a few bears in

North carolina, but that's in the mountains. Sorry to go off topic syl

I don`t usually see bear near people unless..

I`m going through they`re territory..

Food is scarce..

People leave food out..

You have to be cautious with kids in the forest..

There are many more animals than bear,that could do your children harm..

I suppose it could have been worse. It could have been an elephant. Have you tried marking your territory with your own urine? Not sure it will work but it would be a cool experiment to try.
