Emptyinside, I feel your pain as I was a single dub for many years dealing with the same issues you speak of. You hit the nail on the head with statement
I guess they just want to make an example out of her , so other sisters don't get any ideas for living their own life.
The dub interpretation of 1 Cor 7:39 only serves to benefit a selfish Organization who do not care about the happiness and well-being of women. Who will sell the magazines, clean the bathrooms, bring in new WT salespersons if every sister gets wise and hooks up with non-JW's.
Please don't take your brothers scare tactics to heart. There are plenty of good non-JW men. PM me if you want to commiserate.
