I've always questioned this too and the whole birthday thing was brought up and that 'even Jesus told us to celebrate the anniversary of his death'. And how only bad things were mentioned about birthdays in the bible. Give me a break! I'm going to celebrate my children's birthdays when they next have one...will be theirs and my first!
