Also, does anyone have an idea for a good side dish for the 4th? The boys will have bratwurst , so I'm just gonna do burgers, corn on the cob with chili powder and garlic, sausage stuffed jalapenos and probably some chips and salsa for snackage, but I need a side. I'm not in the mood for potato salad.

Also an interesting dessert? Red White and Blue if possible?

Just throw some other veggies seasoned with Mrs. Dash and dabbed with olive oil on the grill.

Potatoes, peppers, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, even onions.

I`m not sure yet..

I`ve decided on lunch though..

I`m going to turn a simple box of "mac and cheese" into a lunchtime restaurant quality meal.

Serves 2..

1/4 inch dice..1/3 cup of onion..1/3 cup of Red pepper..

1/3 cup of broccoli..Remove the stem..Cut the flower into thin slices..

1/3 cup of thinly sliced mushrooms..

1/2 lb of hamburger..

Fry hamburger..spice with garlic and onion..Drain grease from hamburger..

Sautee(Lightly fry) onion/red pepper/sliced mushrooms..

Leave Broccoli raw it will steam in the casserole

Prepare mac and cheese as directed on box.

Get a mixing bowl..Stir in all the ingredients you have just cooked..

Spice with garlic,onion,black pepper,cayenne pepper and dill..

Fill 2 bowls suitable for baking..With your mac/cheese/hamburger and veggies..

Cover with grated cheddar or whatever cheese you have at hand..

Pre Heat oven to 400f..Bake for 25 minutes..

Enjoy..
