Thanks Blondie. I have been doing a google news search for awhile for "Raymond Franz" and nothing ever shows up. I imagine when Danny Haszard dies, his obit will be page one on google.

Thanks for posting that, I remember Ray from my time at Bethel, he was truly a gentleman and a scholar. I always thought of him as the real GB member for ex-JW's. and kind of the Spiritual Leader of this board.

Raymond Franz was perhaps the only one on the Governing Body that wasn't a member of the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger class. He deserves a good deal of respect, since he did his best to right the organization, and then free people from it once that effort failed. For the person that was a witless and wishes to remain Christian, I would definitely recommend his In Search of Christian Freedom book.
