Ohhh been there done that! Don't miss it at all! I hated the annual meat market parade. If you aren't married by 20 you're classed as old and 'what is wrong with you?'. Not to mention that because you're indoctrinated with the whole 'you can't date til you're of marrying age', you have no idea how to even talk to the opposite sex! Then it becomes a rushed 6mth arrangement where marriage is already on the cards from the first date .
I met a brother on the net, met him and married him all within the space of a year. Will never do that again. He was my first boyfriend. Divorced him after 4yrs. Still leaves me feeling like I don't know how to talk to men though and wouldn't have a clue where to even look for one! Especially now that I have two small children.
